Pokhara

Pokhara is the second largest tourist destination of Nepal. It is considered one of the most beautiful and popular place in the world. VISIT POKHARA once is not enough.

It is one of the major city of Nepal located in the west part of Nepal. Many tourists visit the Pokhara valley in order to view panoramic mountains. No place in the world offers such views of the Machhapuchhre and Annnapurna from such close distance.

 

Pokhara is the gateway to trekking paradise. Annapurna Trek is one out of the best ten trekking routes in the world. Pokhara is also known as The City of Lakes. Fewa Lake, the second largest lake in Nepal is the center of many attractions in Pokhara. The reflection of snowcapped high mountains of Annapurna range and Fishtail on the surface water of the Fewa Lake creates unprecedented scenery for all the visitors.

 

Pokhara promotes many hilltops as viewpoints to see sunrise, sunset as well as to view the city and surrounding panorama. Sarangkot, Naudanda, World Peace Pagoda, Kalika, Dhampus are major hills which are also famous for hiking. Sarangkot hill is also mostly tourist visited place which has developed as a good attraction for adventure activities such as Paragliding. Pokhara is also famous for Village tour, Boating, Rafting and Adventurous sports such as Zip flyer, Canoeing, Rock Climbing, Bungee Jumping, Horse ridding etc. Tennis and golf are also another part of sports. Other Sightseeing spots which are worth to visit in Pokhara are David Fall, Gupteshwar Cave, International Mountaineering Museum, Ethnic Museum, Bindabaseni temple and old market.
